FOR most people, the idea of cooking dinner in the bathroom is a major hygiene AND safety hazard.

But for New Yorker Ally, it’s just a casual weeknight cooking up a storm while hanging out of the shower.

In a series of shocking videos on TikTok, Ally has revealed how her oven and hob are just an arms reach away from the shower.

That means she’s able to flip slices of meat, stir pans full of sauce and even season her food while bathing herself.

And yes, that’s exactly what she does.

In a viral video with nearly two million views, she gave viewers an insight into cooking her “favourite” pasta dish WHILE showering.

Making the most of the small space, Ally filmed herself reaching out from behind the wet curtain to stir her food.

Living in New York’s pricey neighbourhood of Manhattan, small studio flats are the norm.

But people allege that Ally’s home “beats it all” with its unique set-up combining the bathroom with the kitchen.

The toilet is in a separate small room next to the hob.

Manhattan is one of the most densely populated areas in the United States, with a high demand for housing.

With limited space available, developers often maximise the number of units they can build on a given plot of land, resulting in smaller apartment sizes.

Other videos of Ally’s apartment posted to her TikTok profile, @friskiesfiend420, suggest she has a normal size bedroom and living room.

But that doesn’t make her kitchen set-up any less bizarre.

People took to the comments of her viral video to share their thoughts, with many dubbing her home “wild” and wincing about “mixing bathroom air with food”.

“I have so many questions,” Jayde Ziva penned.

“I’d be so paranoid about my shower curtain catching fire and getting oil burns,” Rita Jones said.

Karmen Mann feared that she’d “go insane living like that”, adding that she reckons she’d “stink constantly washing herself by cooking food”.

However, some people were impressed by Ally’s multitasking efforts and laughed that she “must save so much time in the mornings”.

“It’s great if you’re in a rush in the morning,” Ally affirmed in the comments.
