Hold up. We’re in love. With Kate. Kate actual Moss. As in the supermodel Kate Moss, who we’ve been hanging out with ALL afternoon. No jokes…
In fact we loved her so much we nearly invited her back to ours to share a supper of jacket potatoes with beans and cheese…
….anyways, we were styling it out alongside Kate Moss, chatting over a cuppa and cakes as she’s just created 10 amazing new nail shades with Rimmel London. Be still your beating talons, Rimmel London‘s new Salon Pro With Lycra with Kate Moss nail varnishes will be on sale from 10 April.
Kate’s shades are inspired by music, and everything from rock ‘n’ roll to a bit of jazz and Ghetto Superstar featuring Mya played out as we afternoon tea-ed with her at Cafe Royale. Tiny little cakes with The Rolling Stones motif were eaten, tea, (served by a butler, natch), was supped and beauty discussed as we reclined on luxe velvet sofas.
Kate looked amazing sitting crossed legged and comfortable in black trousers, a taliored leather jacket, leopard-print heels and a pretty gold and black belt. With top banter and a super-cute smile, she was properly fun and sweet. Wearing Punk Rock, one of the new Rimmel London nail hues, she confessed she loves classic reds and cool blues when it comes to accessorising her fingertips.
Ms Moss also told us she loved doing other people’s nails, enjoying a proper gossip whenever she styles up her friends’ and daughter, Lila’s. She also revealed that, when she’s not working, she loves accessorising her nails to fit with where she’s off to, her outfits, and how she’s feeling.
Honestly, it was like sitting down with one of our BFFs , you almost forgot she was a world famous supermodel. Almost. Our favourtite of Kate’s Rimmel London nail shades is Rhythm & Blues, a midnight blue, which was totes inspired by her Beautiful & The Damned party she threw for her 30th birthday party. Sigh, if only we’d been mates with her then*, (*urm, yes we’re just waiting for Moss to confirm our actual mate status now).
Oh and now we’ve been hanging out with Kate Moss, (err, did we mention that already?!), we’d also like a neon sign of our name wherever we go. Thanks.
