This morning we’ve woken up feeling very fresh as for once we are keeping to our NYE resolution! With all this energy we need to use it up which is why we’ve found the best of this weekend for you and for us.
1. Les Misérables, cinemas nationwide
Now an Oscar-nominated film for everything from Best Costume Designer to Best Picture, catch it in cinema’s whilst you can. Make sure you only sing-a-long in your head though, it might be a bit distracting for other cinema-goers.
2. Take pArt, Wales

The only free arts and literature event in North Wales hits Venue Cymru this weekend. Take pArt will see a number of drop-in sessions running throughout the day specialising in art, dance, drama and digital media to name a few. For more info visit the site.
3. The Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, Bristol

If you haven’t seen this yet, make sure you visit the world renowned touring exhibition in Bristol. Cute animals and everything. Entry is free!
4. Ice Scultpting Festival, London

Taking place in Canary Wharf throughout the weekend, watch pros compete to create works based on the themes ’The Wonders of the Universe’ and ‘Infinity’. Masterclasses are available for the public to join in. See here for details.
5. Watch Splash! Saturday, 7pm, ITV
