Ever wanted to go into space? Now you have the possibility. Last night, Lynx launched their new Apollo range with a bit of a party and a ridiculously out-there prize; the chance to fly into space.
In a haze of teenage boy (well, it is Lynx) we landed in Wimbledon TV studios ready to drink lunar cocktails and eat flying saucers. Have you ever tried ordering three Moonrock’s and two Lunar Eclipse’s? It’s quite a mouthful.
At 9pm the legend that is Buzz Aldrin was beamed in over satellite to talk about the competition and launch it officially worldwide, then host, George Lamb revealed the Lynx suborbital spaceship. Yes, we were impressed but by then Louis Smith had caught our eye, although he seemed more concerned with heading back into London to meet with his Strictly crew. Boo.
After a bit of a dance with Daisy Lowe DJ-ing and after helping Sophia from MIC down the portaloo stairs (Francis Boulle was nowhere to be seen) the only space we wanted to see, was the one in our bed. So that’s where we went. Check out our twitter page for more photos.
