So, y’know, it was just an average night last night: one of those normal nights where you, y’know GO BACKSTAGE AT THE 02 AND MEET NICKI MINAJ!
But, we were totally cool about it. Yeah.
It was all to celebrate the March 2013 launch of her first perfume Pink Friday, which sports the coolest bottle we’ve ever seen in a perfume bottle – in the shape of Nicki’s pink-wigged head.
We (and a load of other beauty journos) were told that Nicki would stop by on her way to the stage to have a piccy taken with us all.
So, we all lined up outside her Tour Manager’s office in a school-photograph fashion waiting for Queen Barbz to join us.
This took a bit longer than expected: Nicki and her dancers were saying their pre-concert prayers were told to BE QUIET and STOP LAUGHING and just get ready for Nicki to come along, OKAY?
But when she did eventually stop by for a photo on her way to the stage, she was the sweetest, teeniest tiniest little popstrel we ever did meet. And her perfume’s pretty sweet too.
