Talking this month to US Magazine, Lucky, Britney reveals she fights her breakouts by wearing very little make-up and washing her face with Clearasil Face Wash daily, £4.99, to keep her skin in check and preventing outbreaks.
Clearasil’s Medical Consultant, Dr Steve Hewitt says Britney is doing the right thing by reducing the amount of makeup she uses. Dr Hewitt says “The use of some make up, especially foundations, has a tendency to block pores resulting in spots. I’d advise Britney to always look for makeup which states that it is non-comedogenic on the label to reduce blockages”.
Dr Hewitt also adds “Adult blemish prone skin such as Britney’s will respond to an effective cleansing regime to help prevent spots appearing. Cleansing with a facial wash with active ingredients such Clearasil Vitamins and Extracts Face Wash, will go a long way to help preventing outbreaks.”
