Are you having Bake-off withdrawal today? Here in the Fabulous office, we’ve got used to our weekly dose of the lovely Mel and Sue and their hilarious double act in the GBBO kitchen (or tent, should we say). What are we going to do with our Tuesday nights now?
But when we heard whispers that our favourite duo were planning a new TV comedy, we just had to find out more! And now we’re very excited…
Written by Sue Perkins, Heading Out is a new comedy about a vet who is smart, successful and popular, but is too scared to tell her parents that she’s gay. Not only does Sue star alongside Mel Giedroyc, the show also features the likes of June Brown (Dot in Enders), Nicola Walker (Ruth from Spooks) and Dawn French.
The six-part series is due to be shown on BBC2 next year. We. Cannot. Wait!
