The lovely team at Michaeljohn booked Gabbi in for a consultation and decided that the Nioxin Scalp Renew Dermabrasion Thickening treatment (prices start from £45) was needed, as well as hair extensions to give her the illusion of fuller locks. “I had the Nioxin treatment straight after the consultation and I noticed the difference instantly,” says Gabbi. The treatment is similar to a deep conditioner and rinsed out before dried normally. Alexandra Zdravkova Artistic Director and Hair Extension Specialist at Michaeljohn recommended that as Gabbi’s hair was so thin it was best to use a laser to secure the extensions in place. This method saves hours of sitting in the salon as it binds the extension to the hair immediately, “My half head of extensions were all done in about 20 minutes,” say Gabbi, “I was amazed at the speed, I’m so happy with the results!”
