We are massively in love with Mary Katrantzou’s SS13 patterns and prints on her oh-so-cute frocks at London Fashion Week, yet sadly can’t afford the pricey, err, price tag…But hip, hip hooray for St. Tropez being backstage at her show to give all the models the brand spanking new Velvet Tan to compliment the outfits, ’cause this is a SS13 trend we can afford, and so get involved in. Nichola Joss and her team created this lush new tan look by mixing St. Tropez Instant Glow Wash Off Mousse, £15.32, st-tropez.com, with body butter and buffing it into the skin. This was followed by layering on St. Tropez Rose Skin Illuminator, £12.26, st-tropez.com, and a dusting of loose powder. Oh hiya soft focus, instagram stylee with lots of texture. We can’t wait to try the Velvet tan. Early doors.
