1 Exfoliate thoroughly the day before you apply the tan and moisturise any dry body parts like knees and elbows.
2 Shower with water only before applying your first coat (this will remove any film left on the skin from shower gels etc from the day before.
3 When completely dry, apply the first coat of pHenomenal – it dries INSTANTLY so you can carry on about your day immediately.
4 Leave around 24 hours (for the absorption reasons we talked about on the phone) and then shower, again with water only. When dry, reapply pHenomenal.
5 Repeat step 4
6 Shower.
So basically if you apply the first coat tonight at 9pm, you’d be applying your second coat on Thursday at 9pm and the third on Friday at 9pm with showers before each application.
But remember ladies fluctuating hormones can affect the results of your tan, so it will depend on the time of the month/pregnancy/menopause as to how long a tan will last on your skin. Also different skin types can also affect the duration of the tan, eg normal skin may have longer lasting results compared to oily skin and all tanning brands are aware of this.
