Flag up!

Topshop’s latest collaboration with Brit designer Ashish really is perfect for a comfy-sweats kinda girl like me. This slogan sportswear with a twist is best worn while watching the Olympics from the comfort of your sofa. Get flying the flag!

How to wear

A two-piece

I’ve fallen a little bit in love with this two-piece. The garden floral print has a naive and hand-drawn quality that makes it stand out from the ton of flowery samples that have hit our fashion cupboard this summer.

Plus it has “long-short” sleeves – perfect for a garden party or summer drinks where you don’t want to let it all hang out. Your arms are covered and the neckline is ultra high, so the fact that it is teamed with shorts is totally acceptable, as long as you keep your pins buffed, toned and tanned! Just add sunnies and you’re summer sorted.

Ruby, 19, a model, wears: jacket, £50, shorts, £30, sunglasses, £12, all ASOS; shoes, £85, Dune

Three reasons to buy

* The plastic zip gives this two-piece a fresh, slightly sporty look.

* The peplum hides a multitude of sins.

* Structured shorts are a great way to elongate your pins.
