Glow, girl “For a natural-looking flush, I used Mac Casual Colour in Weekend Getaway, £17.50, on Megan. I applied it with my fingers to the apples of her cheeks, blending it gently where she would naturally blush.” (1)
Keep it clean “Before applying Megan’s make-up, I cleansed her skin with Josie Maran Rosey Mist Refreshing Rosewater. This isn’t available in the UK, but White Rose Soaps Organic Rose Water, £8, also soothes skin. Then I applied moisturising Argan Oil with a damp sponge.”
Eyes wide open “For a wide-eyed look, I applied Ardell Individual Lashes, £5.49, to the outer corners of her eyes. This opens them up without looking heavy. For definition, I swept black liquid liner along the lash line and added a coat of Dior DiorShow Backstage Makeup Mascara in Black, £23, to her top lashes.” (2), (3)
Leave it bare “This was a very natural look, so I kept Megan’s lips bare to best show off her smile. But her lips can get a little dry, so I moisturised them with Burt’s Bees Nourishing Lip Balm With Mango Butter, £3.69.” (4)
Flawless finish “Megan has clear skin, so there was no need to use a heavy foundation. I opted for Josie Maran SPF30 Tinted Moisturiser in Creme, which is available in the US. A great alternative is Lavera Organic Trend Sensitive Tinted Moisturising Cream in Porcelain, £12.90, applied with a foundation brush.” (5)
Greater depths “To add warmth to Megan’s skin, I used Smashbox Halo Hydrating Perfecting Bronzer in Golden Bronze, £29. I contoured her face by applying it above her cheekbones, under the chin and across the forehead with a large round brush. To keep it simple, I also used it as eyeshadow, applying it with a small brush with soft hairs.” (6)
Brow beautiful “Megan has great brows so rather than change the shape of their natural arch, I enhanced them with Mac Eye Brows in Spiked, £12.50, filling in the outer edge of the brow and following her natural shape. I then set her brows with Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel, £16.50. This wonder product keeps brows looking sleek all day.” (7)
