Anatomy of a face – Kim Kardashian’s glam look

Celeb make-up artist Rob Scheppy reveals how to copy the super-glam look he created for Kim Kardashian

Flush up “I used Make Up Store Wonder Blush in Luxor, £16, (1) on Kim’s cheeks. It’s a soft pink and gives a natural-looking flush. Being a loose powder, it also has more staying power than cream or liquid products.”

No shine “Under Kim’s eyes and anywhere she needed coverage, I used Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage, £26. A very light dusting of Mac Set Powder in Invisible, £18.50 (2) – a completely translucent powder – stopped her skin looking shiny.”

Lovely lashes “Kim has amazingly long lashes, so all I added were a few coats of L’Oréal Paris Voluminous 4X Mascara, £8.16.” (3)

Good foundations “As Kim is papped so much, it’s vital her skin is flawless, so I used Chanel Perfection Lumière Foundation, £36 (4). I warmed it in my hands, then applied with a brush before buffing it into her skin with a sponge.”

Simple shadow “It looks great to have just one or two elements of a look that stand out, so I kept the eyes simple. I swept a mix of shades from YSL Pure Chromatics Wet And Dry Eyeshadow in No. 8, £39, (5) over Kim’s lids and lower lashline.”

Make a statement “For Kim’s full-on pout, I applied Dior Rouge Dior Lipstick in Blazing, £25 (6) – a tangerine-based red. It’s one of my favourite colours.”

Great lines “To add drama to Kim’s eyes, I lined the top and bottom with YSL Dessin Du Regard Eye Pencil Waterproof in Black Ink, £19. (7) For perfect eyeliner, start drawing at the outer corner, applying the kohl close to the lashes until you reach the centre, then start again from the inner corner to meet the first line in the middle.”
