This week we’ve gone hard on patterns, with Rosie’s awesome Aztec talons and my mock-croc crackle glaze.
Rosie’s nails were done by her professional-nail-artist mate (sneaky sneaky, Rosie!), and they look fab. I love that there’s loads of her natural nail colour coming through, rather than the whole nail being blocked out with paint. Plus, the irregular patterns make each nail unique. Nice one, lady!
I gave Barry M Instant Nail Effects Black Crock Nail Polish a whirl – and I LOVED. I did my base in L’Oreal Color Riche Nails Opera Ballerina, which is a pearly pink, and painted over with one coat of the crackle glaze. Paint the Black Croc when the base coat very wet for a big pattern, or let it dry more (which I did) for pretty little squares. Looking like a handbag has never been more chic.
