This summer has proved to be the season of the print. Now I know you probably already have a wardrobe bursting with florals, but you may not have spotted the new kid on the block: marble print. It’s perfect for all you minimalists – wear with lightweight sweatshirts and flats for a fresh look.

How to wear
Spring’s coloured denim has evolved into something altogether more beach- friendly for summer. Surf denim looks like it’s been dip-dyed, shipwrecked and sun-bleached all in one go.
And no, it doesn’t matter if you don’t know one end of your surfboard from the other, you just need to look like you spend your life living for the next wave.
The vibe should be very laid-back and like it’s been casually thrown together. You can even get crafty. If you can’t afford to buy into the look, simply customise an old denim shirt with a packet of Dylon and cut off some well-worn jeans.
- Fray zone Denim shorts and skirts with frayed edges give an authentic feel.
- To dye for Layer up a dyed boyfriend shirt over a contrast colour tee.
- Double up Wedge-heeled trainers will take you from beach to bar.
- Fun in the sun The look works best with sun-kissed legs and serious shades.
With all the rain we’ve had, I’m in desperate need of a pick-me-up – and these little rays of sunshine are just what the doc ordered!
