The rain and wind didn’t dampen spirits at Taste of London today as over 30 top London restaurants sold little plates of food at stalls in Regent’s Park. Some of the delish food on offer included passion fruit tart from Gary Rhodes, and a smoked salmon delight from Michel Roux Jnr. The festival is on until Sunday 24th June and there’s loads more than just eats to be had. Check out the cookery demonstration tent – Jamie Oliver made a pukka lamb dish today – and the AEG cooking kitchen where you get to make Vietnamese street food under the guidance of chef Angela Malik. Top tip is to get the wok really hot so the oil smokes before you even think of adding any food so it cooks rather than steams! Find out more at www.tastefestivals.com/london/
