Underwater love
Magical marine-inspired prints by Mary Katrantzou and Peter Pilotto made waves on the S/S ’12 catwalks, while Chanel models walked out between giant shells and pieces of coral in shimmering mermaid dresses. Ariel eat your heart out! And the high street is awash with underwater prints, too. I love these fish-scale wedges and Primark dress which, at £17, has to be the catch of the day.

How to wear
Peplums
The peplum top may have been around for a few seasons now, but you know what they say… if it ain’t broke! What could be more flattering than a top that makes your waist look tiny, covers up a mum tum and creates a curvy silhouette?
Peplums are loved by everyone, from fashion royalty Victoria Beckham to plain-old royalty K-Middy! They’ve been on more red carpets than I’ve had hot dinners, and they look good on all shapes and sizes.
This two-piece from H&M tickled my fancy because it doesn’t take itself too seriously. So if you are looking for something that will put a smile on your face when you head to the office on Monday morning, p-p-pick up a parrot peplum!
What a corker! I love that these wedges have all the old-school charm of a pair of well-loved sandals, while the retro ’70s vibe brings out my inner hippy.
