Pout perfection “A slick of Christian Dior Rouge Sérum in 510 Nude Serum, £26, and she was ready. This sheer product gave Mila’s lips a sheen while letting her natural lip colour come through.” (1)
Squeaky clean “Mila had showered just before I arrived, so her skin was fresh and dewy. I applied Dr Hauschka Rose Day Cream Light, £23.95, all over her face and Dr Hauschka Eye Contour Day Balm, £27.95, around the eye area to hydrate.” (2)
Cheeky glow “I buffed Stila Convertible Colour, Lips And Cheeks in Petunia, £16, into the apples of her cheeks, then added Christian Dior Diorblush Glowing Color Powder Blush in Passion Fruit, £29, and smoothed Nars Illuminator in Orgasm, £22, over her cheekbones.” (3)
Lovely lashes “You need lots of mascara for a smoky-eye look. I love Lancôme Hypnôse Drama Mascara in Black, £21, for full-on flutter.” (4)

Base drop “I used Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer, £52, for Mila’s skin base. Then I mixed two shades of Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, £34, to match her skin tone, applied with a damp sponge for a soft, natural finish.” (5), (6)
Smokin’ “I smudged Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencil in Kenya, £18, along Mila’s lash lines first. Then I used the lightest shade of Christian Dior 5 Couleurs Iridescent in Earth Reflection, £40, as a highlighter in the inner corner and smudged the dark-brown along her lash line before winging it out away from the outer corners.” (7)
Eyes Down “When creating a smoky look I do the eyes first, so I can clean up any eyeshadow mistakes without ruining the base. I started with Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, £14.50 – it helps eyeshadow stay put and makes the colours look vibrant.” (8)
