Five hot thing to do this weekend

Here’s the Fabulous roundup of the most fabulous things to do this weekend. Read and go!

Ballgowns: British Glamour Since 1950

This fab fashion exhibition at the V&A museum showcases dresses from the last 50 years. Think glam: you’ll see dresses worn by the royals as well as designs by Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood. Call us materialistic, we don’t care. We’re salivating.

Until January 6, V&A Museum, London (Vam.ac.uk)

Pre-Loved Designer Sale

If the ballgowns exhibition above has got you in the mood for some spending, then nip down to Brighton’s Pre-Loved Designer Sale. Thousands of designer items from Chanel, Louboutin, Mulberry, Chloe and more are available from £5. YES, WE SAID A FIVER. Be there or just go and sit on the pier and cry.

Today and tomorrow, Thistle Hotel, Brighton (Preloveddesignersale.co.uk)

Mini Farmer’s Market

Farmer’s markets are ace. Apart from when you’re getting rained on. Which you probably will be this weekend. So be a genius and pop down to this indoor version. There’s a ‘Great British Cupcakery’, jams, fudge, a farmhouse kitchen and more. Yum.

Today and tomorrow, Metro Centre, Gateshead (Metrocentre.uk.com)

Ill Manors (18)

You’ve got to see THE film that’s on everyone has been talking about. Plan B, AKA Ben Drew has written and directed a film based roughly on his upbringing in East London, and we love it. It’s shocking, provocative, and will have you on the edge of your seat. Probs not one to take nan to, though.

Out now, nationwide.

Rita Ora, Coldplay and Robyn

If you can get your hands on a ticket, you get to see the extremely ace Rita Ora, the uber-cool Swedish singer Robyn, and that little band, Coldplay, all in one dose. We’re totes in love with Rita right now – she might be supporting, but she’s a standalone star in her own right.

Tonight, Etihad Stadium, Manchester (Seatwave.com)
