Kate Middleton was all smiles at the Jubilee celebrations and it’s no wonder when she looks this good! We caught up with her hairstylist Richard Ward a few months ago and he told us how you can achieve the Duchess fave failsafe half-up do.
Step One
Section the hair you want to put up with two kirby grips – leaving out a front and side section. Gently backcomb the front sections with a comb, only push the hair in a downward motion to avoid tangles. Once you have created some volume at the root comb the hair back over and fix with a kirby grip.
Step Two
Repeat the same with the side section – fixing each into the centre.
Step Three
Fix in place with hairspray for a look that lasts… even in the rain!
