Would we EVER say no to a day out at the X Factor auditions? Of course not. So yesterday we paid a visit to the O2. Here’s what went down…
The queue to audition went on for aeons. Look at these happy punters! Well, it was pretty sticky. But who knows – the bald guy with the man bag might be the next big thing. You heard it here first, guys.
Eep! Look at those queues. Luckily we were allowed to sneak in ahead. None of team Fabulous felt like auditioning. Maybe next year.
We’re not allowed to reveal too much about the auditionees, we’re afraid, but judges Gary Barlow, Tulisa, Louis Walsh and guest judge Nicole Scherzinger were fab, and bounced off each other with comedy timing. We like Gary best, of course. We watched ten acts sing their lungs out (to varying degrees of success), and of course, there were some silly acts in there too. An actually quite good girl group was turned away (sob), but we cheered up when an amazing male solo artist from Swindon belted Etta James’ ‘At Last’. It was all just the way we like it.
Our tip: watch out for the band that’s got one of Tulisa’s mates in. They’re going to be totally annoying, controversial and entertaining.
Bring on the live shows!
