“When life gets a bit stressed out, I sit in my car in Carrock, Cumbria, where
I lived with my mum and grandma until I was 16. Going there for some quiet
time makes me feel totally like me again.”
The smell that reminds me of home
“My late grandma wore Chanel No. 5. Now every year on her birthday I go into a
store, spray it and the happy memories come flooding back. I won’t wear it
myself because I want it to remind me of her.”
The place I go to let my hair down
“Alma de Cuba in Liverpool is in an old church and is so atmospheric. I
could eat and people watch there all night.”
Favourite outfit
“I wore an amazing Jovani gown (right) to the 2007 British Soap Awards. I was
nominated for an award and didn’t get it, but that dress made me feel like a
winner all night!”
The favourite part of my body
“My feet are a tiny size three so I always find shoes in the sales.”
My latest splurge
“I blew £600 on Mac make-up, including Tinted Lipglass in Viva Glam VI,
£12.50, Mineralize Skinfinish Natural, £16.50, and loads of eye liners.”
