Plus find out what Ms Holden got up to after the Oscars in LA.

TUESDAY, MARCH 9

With the Oscars over, Chris and I take our daughter Lexi to Universal Studios
for some quality family time. It’s freezing and I moan so much that Chris
buys me a bright pink Universal sweater. It’s tacky but at least I’m snug.
If Victoria Beckham could see me now!

Later, we meet Piers Morgan and his fiancée Celia Walden for drinks and I
notice she’s sporting a new huge diamond ring. “It cost $10 from a charity
shop,” laughs Celia, who’s concocted a plan with Piers to take the mickey
out of the huge rock Simon Cowell bought his fiancée Mezghan. I can’t wait
to see his face!

Tonight we’re invited to Simon’s house for a get-together. I talk weddings
with Piers. “I’m planning a small one for family, then a big party for you
lot,” he reveals, before joking with Simon that they’re in massive
competition over their celebrity guest lists!

The truth is that neither of them want famous people at their weddings for the
sake of it. Piers says he’s declined a few big-money offers already.

When Celia shows Simon her fake bling, he laughs his head off. “I think I need
to go shopping again,” he says, deadpan.

Simon’s being more secretive about his wedding plans. We laugh about the
moment when Simon kissed Mezghan on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. Mezghan
says she was only there to do Simon’s make-up and was mortified she appeared
on camera. “I wouldn’t have worn jeans if I’d known!” she says.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 10

Tonight I’m at The Ivy restaurant in LA for dinner and mojitos with the lovely
Myleene Klass. I greet her with a kiss that touches her cheek this time (we
both got slated for air kissing at Simon’s 50th bash last year!).

Myleene’s been out here doing Oscars reports for CNN and tells us she’s off to
Oz soon to film another series of the US version of I’m a Celeb!. She’s also
able to handle Piers grilling her about her days in Hear’Say as he tries to
insinuate that she and Kym Marsh (who he interviewed on his TV show) didn’t
get on. With a roll of her eyes she replies: “There’s no dirt, Piers. We get
on!”

THURSDAY, MARCH 11

Myleene’s invited us to her hotel so Lexi can meet her daughter Ava. “You’re
lucky to have Chris in the same country as you and Lexi,” comments Myleene,
before explaining that her security-boss fiancé Graham Quinn travels a lot
with work, and that life’s been chaotic for a while now.

“We moved house four times in three years,” she says. “I was using Ava’s pram
to wheel pots and pans around the kitchen into my new cupboards!”

Chris seems to love Myleene as much as I do (it may have something to do with
how fabulous she looks in her leopard-print bikini!). Contrary to recent
reports, Myleene is definitely not too thin.

She’s got a tiny tummy but her arms and legs are toned and strong. Trust me,
this girl loves her food. She knows her desserts so well that when we had
dinner at The Ivy, she ordered a top-secret cake that isn’t even on the
menu. I call it ‘Black Market Chocolate Cake’, and it’s full of calories and
covered in cream-cheese frosting. Delicious!
