Stephen Mulhern gives Fabulous some interesting insights…

I’m at my best when… I’m entertaining and performing live. I love the
excitement I feel when anything can happen.

Those closest to me would describe me as… fun, energetic, caring and
loyal.

One thing about my past I don’t admit easily is… I once
borrowed my brother’s car without asking and had a prang in it. He asked
who’d borrowed it and I kept quiet. He blamed our older brother. I came
clean a few years later because I felt terrible!

Three things I’d want on a desert island are… my iPod, my
laptop and my mum, Maureen. All three of them would keep me entertained in
different ways.

One thing I’d like to do before I die is… see my 20th birthday
because then I would be the only person to receive two telegrams from the
Queen!

If I advertised myself on a dating site, it would read… “I’m a guy
who is guaranteed to make you laugh and give you plenty of fun.”

I’d be happier if… there was less gun and knife crime.

The thing I like least about myself is… my toes. They’re extremely
long and I don’t like the way they look.

My fantasy dinner date would be… Michael Crawford because he’s a
legend and everything I aspire to. I’d talk to him about his career and how
times have changed in the entertainment industry – both on screen and stage.

The thing I value most is… family and friends because life wouldn’t
be fun without them.

My biggest regret is… doing this questionnaire – now I’m going to be
late for a meeting!

If I wasn’t a presenter I’d be… a teacher because of the
fulfilment of passing on my knowledge to others.

Answer the following…

I’m a perfectionist: Always

I like taking charge of others to get things done: Always

I find it easy to hide my true feelings from others: Always

I enjoy making people feel appreciated and confident: Always

I keep upbeat and positive even when things are going badly: Always

STEPHEN SAYS: “The hand symbolises so much for me – in terms of playing
music, performing magic, presenting, and generally my connection with the
world – including staying in touch with my friends and family.”

‘STEPHEN is sensitive to criticism’

JAMES SAYS: “Stephen looks to draw out the best in others, using his talents
and experience to help them improve themselves.

He’ll seek out authentic, intimate relationships and bring enthusiasm and
devotion to them. However, this makes him particularly sensitive to
criticism or tensions.

Stephen sets high standards for himself and will exert a lot of energy to
ensure whatever he takes on is done to the best of his ability. Although
some of his decisions may be laboured, they will be guided by strong
personal values and genuine consideration of others’ needs.

The large hand and smiling faces on each fingernail in Stephen’s drawing
symbolise a desire to reach out to others. The question mark reflects the
open-minded and responsive way Stephen approaches relationships and
situations – he’s curious about the new opportunities he will unearth.”

James is a specialist in psychometric testing.
